How we work, written down.
The plain rules behind every quote and retainer. The quote you sign carries the specifics; this page is the part that is always the same.
Last updated 1 November 2026. These terms apply between Aksoy Production Ltd, trading as SagaFabrica, and the client named on a quote or retainer agreement.
1. The quote is the contract
Every job starts with a one-page quote: what we will make, how many, by when, for how much, and what is not included. Work starts when you accept it in writing (email is fine) and, for projects, when the first milestone payment arrives.
2. Retainers
- Retainers run month to month. Either side can end with 30 days written notice.
- Nothing auto-renews at a higher price. Any price change is given with at least 30 days notice.
- Fees are invoiced at the start of each month and due within 14 days.
- Unused parts of a month (a shoot day you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, for example) do not roll over, but we will always try to reschedule.
3. Projects
- Fixed price for the scope on the quote. Changes to scope are priced before we do them.
- Billed in milestones, typically 40% to start, 40% at first delivery, 20% on completion. Files for each stage are released when that stage is paid.
- Two rounds of revisions are included at each stage unless the quote says otherwise.
4. Ownership
- When an invoice is paid, you own the deliverables it covers: finished films, photos, designs, code and copy. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
- Domains, hosting, social and ad accounts are registered in your name from the start. We work as an admin or partner you can remove.
- Raw footage and working files are yours on request and kept by us for 12 months.
- Fonts, music and stock are licensed to you for the use on the quote. Wider use may need a further licence, which we will tell you about first.
5. Advertising spend
Ad spend is paid by you to the platform from your own account. We do not hold your spend and we do not mark it up. We set budgets with you in writing and will not exceed them without your say.
6. Your part
Approvals within five working days keep the dates on the quote. Access to the accounts, people and places we need to film. Someone who can say yes.
7. Late payment
Invoices unpaid 14 days after the due date pause the work. We may charge interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
8. Liability
We carry out the work with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the work the claim relates to in the previous three months. We are not liable for loss of profit or for the performance of platforms we do not control, such as Meta, Google or TikTok.
9. Confidentiality and data
What we learn about your business stays with us. Personal data is handled as set out on the Privacy page.
10. Ending things
On termination you pay for work done to date and receive the files for everything paid. We hand over accounts and access within five working days at no charge.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
