What we collect, and why.

Short version: the contact form, your email and what you tell us about your business. No ad tracking, no cookies beyond one setting saved in your browser.

Draft, written to be checked before launch. It describes how the site and the studio are meant to work; it is not legal advice and has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor.

Who we are

SagaFabrica is a trading name of Aksoy Production Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number: to be added before launch; registered office: to be added). Contact: hello@sagafabrica.com, London N4. Aksoy Production Ltd is the data controller for anything you send us through this site.

What we collect

What you type into a form: your name, email, business name or handle, budget range, timing and notes.
Emails you send us, and the replies.
If you become a client: the material needed to do the work, such as access to accounts you give us, footage and files.
Server logs kept by our hosting provider, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Why, and on what basis

To answer you and prepare a proposal (our legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry you made).
To do the work under a contract with you.
To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices, for six years.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your details with advertisers.
We do not add you to a newsletter because you filled in a form.
We do not run advertising pixels on this site.

Who sees it

The small team working on your brief, and the services we use to run the studio: email and file storage (Google Workspace), the form service that delivers what you type into our forms (Formspree), hosting, and accounting software for invoices. Each of these holds data under its own agreement with us. Some are based outside the UK and rely on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we did not take on: 12 months. Client files: for the length of the work and 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or keep them longer. Invoices and contracts: six years, as required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@sagafabrica.com and we will reply within one working day and act within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. One setting, your choice of light or dark mode, is saved in your browser's local storage so the page remembers it. It never leaves your device. If we add analytics later, this page will say so first, and we will choose a tool that does not track you across other sites.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
